P.Diddys Got Nothin on Pet Set
Published on September 11, 2008 at 12:01am
Pet owners and animal lovers, break out your lint brushes! Friday night offers you the opportunity to not only support our fine furry friends at the Humane Society of Broward County, but also a chance to party all night in chic white. Hosted by Pet Set, a social networking group of young professionals who raise funds for the shelter, the annual White Party begins at 6:30 p.m., poolside, at the Hyatt Regency Pier Sixty-Six (2301 SE 17th St., Fort Lauderdale). Featuring a silent auction, surprise guest entertainment, cocktails, and hors doeuvres, with exclusive VIP cabanas available, this soiree should make the Pet Set look like the jet set. Later, the party moves into the hotels lounge for desserts, drinks, and more music. Valet parking is available for $7 and tickets range from $40 to $60 (VIP cabanas not included, of course). Reservations are encouraged. Visit www.humanebroward.com or call 954-266-6827 for details.
